Sedus crossline swivel chair family, design: Markus Dörner

With the patented Similar Plus mechanism, Sedus is once again setting standards for the entire office furniture industry. It is based on the very latest findings by the Sedus ergonomics experts, who have been continually developing improved coordinated movements adapted to meet human needs since the invention of the dynamic sitting principle.

Sedus crossline opens the door to a whole new sitting experience. The motor and centrepiece of the new swivel chair is an innovative mechanism which transforms sitting to a “perfect balance” experience and ensures previously unimaginable coordinated movements during dynamic sitting. The operating elements, which are also newly developed, allow the backrest pressure and the opening angle of the backrest to be set comfortably and intuitively.

The new “crossline” product family has five members: a swivel chair with a medium-height backrest, a swivel chair with a high backrest including a comfortable support for the neck, a conference swivel chair with high sitting comfort, a 4-leg model and a cantilever model as either a conference chair or visitor chair.
