Kallup to leave Sedus Stoll Group

Dr. Bernhard E. Kallup, CEO of Sedus Stoll AG, will be leaving the company on 31 December 2013 by mutual consent. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, of Sedus Stoll AG, Klaus Tillmann, expresses his thanks to Dr. Kallup for many years of successful work for the Sedus Stoll Group and wishes him all the best for the future.

Over the past two decades the company has transformed from being a manufacturer of office seating into a one-stop provider for state-of-the-art office environments. This transformation was supported by the acquisition of Gesika Büromöbelwerke and its integration in Sedus Stoll AG. Sedus is now one of the top 10 companies in the European office furniture market.

Sedus Stoll’s takeover of Klöber GmbH was another acquisition that took place under Dr. Bernhard Kallup's leadership. Klöber GmbH operates as an independent company within the Sedus Stoll Group.

From 1992, Dr. Kallup was initially in charge of Production, Logistics and Purchasing on the Board of Directors at Christof Stoll GmbH & Co. KG and subsequently, from November 1992, also assumed responsibility for Development. He was appointed Chairman in 1997, when he took on the new Brand Management department at board level alongside his position as Technical Director. Besides these duties, Dr. Kallup was also assigned responsibility for Sales during the years 2006 to 2012.

In future Dr. Bernhard E. Kallup will be focusing on other tasks outside the Sedus Stoll Group.

Dr. Kallup's duties are being taken on temporarily by the two board members Holger Jahnke and Carl-Heinz Osten until a third board member for the technical division is appointed.
