Sedus given special recognition by the EU for 20 years of EMAS-based eco-management

On the occasion of a high-level conference on EMAS (European Eco Management and Audit Scheme), more than 200 EMAS-certified companies and experts got together in Frankfurt a. M. on 13 November to celebrate the organisation's 20 years of existence on a European level. In the framework of the many specialist presentations, tribute was paid to the EMAS-based form of environment management to which Sedus Stoll AG has committed itself as a company from very early on. Kestutis Sadauskas, Director "Green Economy“, DG Environment, European Commission and Werner Studener, Director General Administration & Environmental Coordinator of the European Central Bank, presented Ernst Holzapfel, head of marketing at Sedus, with the certificate in recognition of the company's pioneering role and its efforts in the area of sustainability management.
