After eight months in 2015, the Sedus Stoll Group reports a good interim result, with a 10.5 per cent growth in orders and an 11.8 per cent growth in sales. The expectations for the remainder of the year are also optimistic now that new framework agreements have been signed with international corporations.
The positive trend at the beginning of the year was continued in the subsequent months, whereby increases in new orders and net sales balanced each other out.
The divisions of the Sedus Stoll Group in detail
After eight months, Sedus Seating (office seating, communications furniture and private-building furniture) reports a 10.6 per cent growth in new orders. This is especially the result of foreign business.
This growth in new orders is topped by the Sedus Systems product division with total growth of 19.0 per cent. Foreign business also contributed to this due to the completion of several large projects.
Altogether, the Sedus brand can therefore report a 13.7 per cent increase in new orders. This pleasing development in the case of Sedus contrasts with the current 8.4 per cent decrease in new orders experienced by Klöber GmbH, which experienced this reduction especially in the area of foreign business.
Total sales of the Sedus Stoll Group rose by 11.8 per cent in the first eight months, combined with a further increase in orders in hand.
Sedus Stoll AG expects business to develop positively in the remaining months of the year, one of the more important reasons for this being new projects that have been gained.
The profit achieved in the first eight months also indicates a considerable increase compared to the level of the previous year. For the year as a whole, a result that is at least on the level of the previous year is expected.
