These days an ‘ office or workplace must be flexible Employees want a choice of where to work and their individual needs taken into account Sedus will be demonstrating how this balancing act can be achieved at Clerkenwell Design Week from 21 to 23 May 2024.

“With the growing desire for a more harmonious work life balance, it is becoming increasingly important to design working environments that not only enable a healthy workload, but also actively contribute to reducing employee stress,” explains says Ben Wheeler, Managing Director Sedus Stoll Ltd “Developments such as advanc es in digitalisation and increased flexibility in working hours are leading the way. se:living sofa system a new era of comfortable working in the office

"The se:living sofa system consists of elements that are all suitable for the modern office environment," explains Robin Rizzini, designer of the se:living sofa range. "The added value of se:living lies in the introduction of double depth seating for a more informal way of sitting, along with asymmetrical armchairs or angled modules for more intimate conversations. As this is the first sofa seating system for Sedus and the company is known for its technical heritage, I thought it was a good idea to create a balance between a well proportioned and comfortable product with the inclusion of ' elements, such as tables that can be linked together in different ways."

The new se:living sofa combines the comfort and aesthetics of a living room sofa with the functionality expected in modern working environments. Whether as a single sofa, in a corner or as an island configuration, the possibilities are endless. The USB socket for power is integrated into the base, allowing for convenient charging at any time.
