Developed in collaboration with the architectural firm Archimage, specialist dealer Le Bureau Contemporain and Sedus, the project has delivered a modern, flexible and sustainable working environment for around 800 employees was created on an area of approximately 11,000 m². The primary objective was to specifically promote collaboration and interaction while creating a high-quality environment – in keeping with the spirit of an internationally networked headquarters. With employees typically working at the headquarters three days per week and frequent visits from colleagues across the international Danone network, the space was created to meet high standards of flexibility, adaptability, and hospitality.
Focus on collaboration, exchange and well-being
The new premises were specifically designed to promote collaboration, creativity and innovation. The building has several communal areas that serve as social and communicative anchor points: an auditorium, a library, various catering facilities and several terraces create places for people to meet and engage in informal exchange.
The concept is complemented by rooms for relaxation and personal development – including nursing and relaxation rooms as well as space for yoga and Pilates, a multifunctional studio, training areas and spacious green zones. These areas have been designed to offer employees real retreats from their everyday work, where they can take a break, recharge and concentrate.
Sedus creates spaces for communication and concentration
Sedus has furnished the headquarters with lounge furniture, conference chairs and room-in-room solutions, enabling a seamless transition between exchange, collaboration and focus:
Meeting & seminar rooms
The numerous meeting and seminar rooms form the communicative backbone of the new Danone headquarters. They are designed for different forms of collaboration – from spontaneous team meetings to formal presentations and workshops. Equipped with se:flair swivel chairs and se:mission conference chairs, the rooms not only offer ergonomic comfort, but also an inviting atmosphere that supports structured collaboration and creative exchange.

Quiet zones & retreats
For periods of high concentration and individual focus, employees have access to more than 70 se:cube room-in-room solutions. These retreats create acoustically protected, quiet zones within the open-plan workspace and enable undisturbed work, personal conversations or short breaks. This creates a balance between openness and retreat – a central component of the holistic work concept.
Lounge & reception areas
The lounge and reception areas at the headquarters are designed as informal meeting places that encourage interaction, exchange and relaxation. The cosy se:living sofa, se:café soft chair and se:café soft lounge chair create comfortable zones with a high quality of stay. They invite you to pause for a moment or engage in conversations beyond traditional meeting formats – and underline the open, welcoming character of the location.

Sustainability as a central project goal
Sustainability is more than a priority, it is an important criterion in the selection of furnishings. Danone chose Sedus for its consistently sustainable product concepts, the high quality of its se:cube room-in-room solutions compared to other manufacturers, and the existing successful collaboration at a previous Danone location in the Paris region. The project therefore consistently builds on existing sustainability and quality standards.
Equally important to the success of the project was the trust that has been built up over many years between Danone as a long-term client, Le Bureau Contemporain as a close and established partner, and Sedus. Thanks to dedicated teams, the continuous presence of key contacts throughout every stage of the project, the quality of the products and the professional services delivered reliably and on time, the headquarters became the result of a truly collaborative effort. This strong partnership made it possible to complete the project efficiently and with a shared commitment to excellence.
A place that creates identity
The new headquarters combines openness, hospitality and an urban location with a clear commitment to social and environmental responsibility. It not only supports new ways of working, but also strengthens the company’s identity and sense of belonging. A diverse range of spaces accommodate different working styles, life stages, and career paths.
The move to this central and dynamic district of Paris marks an important milestone in Danone’s history. It reflects the company's commitment to creating a working environment that meets the challenges of tomorrow while embodying a corporate culture that is constantly evolving. Throughout the project, Sedus supported Danone as a reliable partner in the design of this forward-looking headquarters.
