se:flex - A perfect solution for desk sharing

se:flex - A perfect solution for desk sharing

Advantages of interchangeable workstations

The introduction of alternating workplaces offers numerous advantages for both companies and employees. On the one hand, there is the huge savings potential, which is particularly important for companies in expensive city centre locations. This is because companies with desk sharing generally need fewer workstations and rented space can be reduced.

But there are also advantages for collaboration. As you often have the opportunity to sit next to other colleagues, you get to know them better, which can lead to new conversations, synergies and ideas.

By creating different zones in the office, such as quiet zones or meeting areas, employees can also choose their space to suit their needs and tasks.

Few adjustment elements...

se:flex is an ideal choice of office chair for use at interchangeable workstations. With fewer adjustment elements, there is less to learn and adjust. The adjustment button for the seat height is located on the right-hand side of the seat and the button for the sliding seat is on the left.

If the weight and body proportions of the seated person are not known, se:flex reacts with auto-adaptive weight detection. An additional lever in the mechanism reacts to the deflection of the seat plate and thus influences the pre-tension within the mechanism. The chair therefore fits the majority of people without having to adjust the leaning force.

se:flex also offers a solution for particularly tall/heavy or short/light people: four additional spring assemblies are available, which can be used to change the character in the direction of light or heavy.

... lots of ergonomics

The rear, relaxed sitting position is also ergonomically ideal. In this position, the backrest supports the weight of the torso, which leads to significantly lower pressure loads on the lumbar discs. The armrests follow the movement of the backrest support directly, which is particularly suitable for working with a smartphone or tablet. The intuitively usable armrests are also height-adjustable and the armrests can be moved lengthways and swivelled inwards and outwards.

Another positive feature of the backrest is its torsional flexibility. The backrest can be moved sideways around an axis that is thought to run through the spine. This is limited and against resistance so that the healthy range of movement is not exceeded at any time. Here too, no adjustment is necessary; the flexibility is unobtrusive and discreet.

In the configuration with the 4-D armrests and the comfort seat, se:flex also fulfils the DIN EN 1335-1:2023 Type A office chair standard. The configuration complies with the strictest requirements, is state of the art and fulfils the requirements for a diverse user group with different needs. DIN EN 1335 is a standard that specifies dimensions, safety requirements and safety tests for office chairs.

This makes se:flex an excellent overall package for interchangeable workstations and many (large) companies have already decided in favour of this product concept.
