With 18 locations across Germany and Austria, Hitzler Engineers is one of the established experts in professional construction project management. In 2025, Sedus refitted a space covering 250 square metres at its Vienna branch – with furniture that excels in terms of both ergonomics and aesthetics. A fresh, modern, and inviting concept was implemented, with the aim of creating an appealing office in the heart of the Austrian capital. The result is 17 workstations for the on-site engineering staff, along with different zones for (team)work and relaxation.

Single workstations
To make efficient use of the office space, height-adjustable se:lab twin double workstations and individual se:lab e-desk desks were installed. In combination with self-adjusting se:flex swivel chairs, these workstations enable users to alternate between sitting and standing. easy screen silent privacy and acoustic screens, along with se:matrix shelving systems, provide screening and zoning.
Meeting & seminar rooms
The intelligent mastermind table system, which can be customised to suit any size or shape of room, is used in the meeting and seminar areas. In addition, homely se:flair swivel chairs create the ideal balance between comfort and function.
Quiet zones & retreats
Universal se:dot stools create an informal atmosphere in the quiet zones at Hitzler Engineers. They also serve as colourful visual highlights and feature a practical carry loop, making them easy to carry to the retreat of choice.
Hubs & intermediate areas
se:matrix is used in the intermediate zone as well. As a high desk, it's the perfect complement to the different shelving configurations and provides space for spontaneous meetings or informal conversations on the go.
Canteen, bistro & cafeteria
In the break area of the engineering office, the se:café team table is an impressive long communal table for socialising and interaction. se:café wooden chair wooden chairs in various colours are arranged in a group to form a harmonious and inviting ensemble.
