What is it actually like to work at Sedus? What does a typical day look like during the apprenticeship, and what experiences do apprentices gain in different areas of the company?
To answer these questions, we spoke to several trainees. Paula, Anne, Dennis and Nicolas talk about their first few months at Sedus, their tasks and the moments that make their training special.

This year, Sedus Werksmusik is celebrating its 90th anniversary at its Dogern site. Founded in 1935 by eight Sedus employees, its history has been marked by historical setbacks and musical highlights. The fact that the Werksmusik ensemble still exists today, with around 30 active members, is a real rarity in the region and is therefore being celebrated in style!

Every August, Sedus trainees in Dogern are given the opportunity to spend a month abroad. Until recently, this was possible in England, but since Brexit, the destination has shifted to Dublin, Ireland. The trip is supported by the European education programme Erasmus+, as well as our local partner, the Swan language school, which takes care of the organisation and the language course. Simon Troll, industrial clerk apprentice, reports on his experiences.
