As of 1 October 2021, Christoph Kargruber will be taking over as chairman of the Marketing and Sales Board  at Sedus Stoll AG, Germany's largest office furniture manufacturer.

Born in Austria, he is 51 years old and completed his studies in business administration, majoring in controlling and company management, at the Leopold-Franzens university in Innsbruck. He has over twenty years of international management experience in the B2B2C area.  

In the framework of his many years of work at D. Swarovski KG in Wattens, Austria, he was an Executive Vice President and headed the Innovation and Product Management departments, among other things. Three years ago, he moved to Ritzenhoff AG in Marsberg, Germany, where he worked as chairman of the management board and was responsible for the Corporate Strategy, Marketing and Sales departments.

Christoph Kargruber sees himself as an entrepreneurially active and strategically thinking management personality, has been successful in the area of sales in different countries and cultures and has held responsibility for over 400 employees. Sales, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management and Communication  are among his core areas of competence.  

The Supervisory Board and shareholders of Sedus Stoll AG are pleased about this new appointment and are convinced not only that he will be a competent successor to Holger Jahnke, who died last November, but also that they have found a suitable colleague for the future Sedus management board trio Daniel Kittner
(Technology, Development), Cornel Spohn (Finances, Personnel, IT) and Christoph Kargruber (Marketing, Sales) who will continue the success story of the 150-years-young company with reliable continuity but also with new ideas.  

The Sedus Stoll Group concluded the 2020 financial year with a turnover of more than 184 million euros and currently employs over 900 people. Sedus is one of the leading all-round suppliers for office equipment and furniture as well as workstation concepts and is an established brand with eleven subsidiaries in Europe and Dubai. Worldwide, it is represented in 70 different countries.
